ARC Control Device Mechanism:
To assist arc extinction during circuit breaking, an arc defector of magnetic material is fitted around every break. As the magnetic fludakes the path of list resistance, the arc experiences force due to which it is led into the arc deflector and thus lengthened and cooled.
